"I

just don't know if it's a good idea to live with you now," Kent said, waiting until after our waiter walked away to pick up our conversation where we left off.

"Why? You were already going to come live with me before we slept together."

"I hadn't made a decision yet, but now that we have slept together––"

"And are going to continue to sleep together."

He paused, turning his head to watch my face for several moments. "Are you sure that's a good idea? Is any of this a good idea?"

Smiling softly, I leaned in intent on giving him a soft, if lingering kiss, but as it had happened every single time since the first kiss three days ago, things escalated quickly.

I blamed it on the little sound he made as soon as our lips touched. It was the sweetest little whimper. Almost like he was happily surprised by the way our lips felt together. No matter how many times we kissed, he still made that damn sound. It went straight to my dick, and I'd groan and slip my tongue between his lips.

He pulled back after a long moment, pressing his forehead against mine and leaving his eyes closed while he caught his breath, his hand fisted in my shirt. I wasn't sure if that was to keep him from toppling off his stool, or me, but we both needed it.

"Let's do this," I whispered. "You're paid a month in advance on your rent, right?" He nodded slightly, his eyes opening slowly. "You wait a couple of weeks to tell your roommate you're moving out. I would say wait until the last day, but I know you wouldn't feel good about that. If at the end of two weeks, I haven't completely won you over, and convinced you to be with me forever and ever…" I smirked when he raised both eyebrows in surprise. "Then you can continue to pay the roommate and still stay with me until you are convinced. The second bedroom will be there for as long as you need it, and I will probably keep dragging you to my bed every night in an effort to convince you."

"So, I don't have to make a decision today? For the next two weeks, I'm basically just staying at your house as a trial run for living with you… even though we just started sleeping together and I don't even know if we're boyfriends or friends with benefits, and I––"

"You're mine," I whispered, making him stop and stare, blinking hard. "I would love to be your boyfriend, or whatever else you want to call the man that you are with exclusively, but this is a relationship, and it is important. I told you I was going to convince you to be with me forever, and I meant it. That's what I want from this."

"Why?" he whispered when I pulled back, reaching up to lightly draw lines on his face with my index finger. "Why me, and why now?"

"I'll tell you when I think you're ready.
